The Christmas season (known in church as “Advent”) is about anticipating the birth of Jesus Christ, who comes to bring salvation to the world. Through Jesus’ birth, we celebrate the Hope that’s born in the world among us as well as in our hearts today! As followers of Jesus, we seek to share this Hope to those around us through the joy, peace, and love that we give throughout this special season.
Throughout this season, we welcome and invite you to join us for upcoming community events, serving opportunities to help those in need, worship services, and more!

SUNDAY, Beginning December 3 to December 17
The United Methodist Men have partnered with Lunches of Love on their 2023 Christmas Program. They have individual angels available for adoption. Please visit one of the trees that will be located in the Gathering Room or FLC Sunday mornings beginning December 3rd. Special Worship Opportunities

Celebrate the beginning of Advent with us at a special unified Sunday worship service! This service will be family-friendly and full of music and blessings for the Advent season. We hope you will join us!
ThurSDAY, DECEMBER 7 at 6:30PM
Join us for a night of worship through music and art with a purpose. We will have opportunities to make several different art projects as we celebrate the coming of Christ with seasonal worship songs. Invite your friends, neighbors, and family to join you! We will have options for all ages. Please bring a treat to share. We will provide hot beverages to go with them! Doors open at 6:30pm and nursery will be provided.
An Invitation to join the choir
The Christmas Concert is fast approaching! For those who are interested in joining the MPUMC choir specifically for the Christmas concert, start coming to rehearsals Wednesday nights starting November 8th at 7:00 PM. We'll spend the first 45 minutes of rehearsal on the concert repertoire. I'll have a packet of music for you and I'll send you a playlist so you can familiarize yourself with the music at home. This is going to be a really special event! Join us! AND if you're not sure where to go, head towards the sanctuary from the FLC, go to the right and take the first door on your right.

Join us for a Christmas Eve celebration before you hit the road for your Christmas travels! This contemporary worship service will be hosted at our church campus in our Family Life Center and include candle-lighting (alternative lighting will be provided for children).
Nursery care for 0 - 2 yr olds will be available.

Join us for an amazing family Christmas Eve service for all ages! Enjoy carol singing, and a retelling of the birth of Jesus, and a beautiful nativity scene!
This service will be streamed online via Facebook and our website.

Join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly Christmas Eve service, including music, the telling of the Christmas story, and of course, singing by candlelight.

Join us on New Year's Eve morning in the Family Life Center for a time of Unified Family Worship, food, and fellowship. Please bring a brunch dish to share. We also invite anyone who plays an acoustic instrument to join our music team for the morning.
