You’ll be using your own hand as a teaching tool to remember how we can reach out to our community to “Live Jesus. Love Community,” using what’s known as the “Five Finger Prayer.” We’ll also give you at least one prompt each week to help you reach someone in your neighborhood or community.

Most people are are familiar with the Easter season. There are egg hunts, lots of pastel colors, chocolate bunnies, and more! But behind all of those fun traditions is an incredible story of a man named Jesus, who suffered, died, and, three days later, rose to life so that we could experience freedom, joy, and an abundant life on this side of eternity. Easter is about Jesus giving you and me a brand new start - a new beginning! And it doesn’t matter who you are or where you’ve been, it’s God’s gift for you.

Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ entry into the city of Jerusalem but it also marks his journey to the cross and, eventually, to the real triumph of the Resurrection. Jesus goes the distance to show us just how far-reaching God’s love really is and what God’s love can always overcome.
