 Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

For those of you who like to have fun, a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre is coming to Mountain Park UMC in just a few more weeks.

SETTING THE SCENE: “The Charity” has asked to hold a Fund-Raising Dinner and Auction in our Family Life Center, which will include a display of the Tsarina’s Jewels on tour by the Russian Department Tourism. The auctions, both a silent auction and a live auction are real, and will benefit CX Creative Spaces, only the “The Charity” and the people supposedly holding the fundraiser are fiction.

Enjoy a delicious menu with options like Chicken, Roast Beef, or Vegetarian dishes, along with a tempting dessert. Don’t forget to bring your wallets for the cash bar.

THE PLOT THICKENS: During the course of the evening a body will be found. The question then becomes was it a murder, and if so, who is it, and more importantly who did it. If you think you can figure it out, be sure to buy a ticket and try out your investigative talents.

BEHIND THE SCENES: There will also be a VIP Mocktail Reception at 5:30pm before the dinner at which time you will be able to see close-up some of the Jewels, and you will have an opportunity to meet several members of the cast.
