"Global Grub" is a Friday dinner program sponsored by our Fresh Expressions Team.

The first Global Grub will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, 6-8pm in FLC. 

Our featured country is Korea! Menu: Korean BBQ & rice, Dumplings, and Kimchi!

In this Global Grub event, we will learn to make dumplings, grill LA ribs, and pork belly at the table. After dinner, we will play a few games from the Squid Game!  RSVP required*. $25 per person, $50 per family of 4.

SENIORS ARE SPECIAL: The next SAS meeting is on Thursday, JUNE 5, in the Youth Room at 11:30am.

This is a very special annual tradition of praying for and celebrating our Confirmands. You are welcome to bring cards of encouragement and a dish to share for the potluck in the FLC afterwards. Last names A-L bring a salad or fruit, M-Z bring a vegetable/side.

MPUMC celebrates Good Friday on April 18 starting at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Music, prayer, and scripture guide this time of reflection on the meaning of the cross and crucifixion of Christ.

Maundy Thursday (4/17/25) Dinner at 5:30pm and Storytelling "A Stranger in Jerusalem" by Rev. Dr. Jim Nelson. Registration for dinner is required but not for the worship service. Register by clicking here.

A Jewish family living in North Africa, like many Jews living in the Diaspora usually could not afford to go to Jerusalem for the required festivals each year, but one year they put together the resources to travel there for the Passover to personally present their offerings to God along with the offerings of their neighbors.  The year they went was the year Jesus was arrested and crucified.  The story of what they experienced is told through the eyes of their youngest son, Rufus.

Each month, the community at the contemporary worship service of Mountain Park UMC gathers to worship AND serve! Join us on Sunday, April 6 at 11:00am in the Family Life Center for about 30 minutes of worship and a short message followed by a structured time of service in support of an important mission partner.

Tasks typically include assembling packages of non-perishable food and hygiene items for distribution to those in need.

We hope to see you at Serve Sunday!
