We are connecting our communities with Jesus to transform lives.

Our God Dream (mission) is to connect our communities with Jesus to transform lives. Everything we are doing on a daily basis needs to help us move toward this goal. Every aspect of our church-life and our personal journey of faith should be helping us to make this a consistent reality. Every. Action. Matters.

We can identify key aspects of our church-life that we should be pouring our time, energy, resources, and attention into on a regular basis. We call these key aspects of our church-life, “core values.” These core values are what will help us have a ripple effect throughout our communities. We believe all 5 of our core values will help us live into our God Dream (mission) more fully. These core values help us focus on the love of God permeating all areas of our life together each and every day.

5 CORE VALUES

1. Engaging WORSHIP

We believe worship isn’t an event that you attend but a way of life. God invites us to participate regularly in worship together as a church family as well as each day individually. “Engaging Worship” builds within us an expectation for us to encounter God’s transforming presence, which then inspires us to seek and encounter God every day of the week. When we give our all with “Engaging Worship,” we will more fully focus on God’s presence as the center and the source of our life.

2. Intentional DISCIPLESHIP

We believe discipleship (being a follower of Jesus) isn’t a passive experience but an intentional journey, where we not only grow in our understanding of God but apply it to our lives - and that takes work! Just like any meaningful relationships in our lives, they require intentional effort to grow and appreciate. God loves us where we are but God also loves us enough to not leave us there. God invites us to go deeper in following the way of Jesus Christ to be a part of the ongoing movement of redemption of the world. We want to have a hunger to grow closer to God and apply what we learn to our everyday life. When give our all with “Intentional Discipleship,” we will more fully embrace who we are called to be: redeemed children of God serving and loving others in Jesus’ name.

3. Life-changing SERVICE

We believe a follower of Jesus isn’t about having only a “head-knowledge” but also a “heart-knowledge.” Following Jesus means learning to take the focus off of ourselves and focus more on the care and wellbeing of others around us. Consistently showing up, listening, and serving others reveals this transformed heart and our growing desire to love others as God loves us. We want to be tangible expressions of God’s love in the world that is both life-changing and life-giving. When we give our all with “Life-changing Service,” we will become the tangible presence of God’s love in our communities as part of God’s ongoing redemption of the world.

4. Thriving NEXT GENERATION

We believe that children and youth aren’t passive members of the church but full-fledged disciples who are faithful, influential leaders not just within the church but wherever God calls them in life. The journey of faith is never done in isolation but is shared within a community of faith. We want to be sure to include our next generation as part of that community so that we are intentionally pouring into them and they are pouring into us. We strive to cultivate strong disciples at every stage of life and learning. When we give our all with a “Thriving Next Generation,” we will be establishing and investing in the future, faithful leaders of our world.

5. Radical WELCOME

We believe that the community of faith isn’t closed-off to the rest of the world but is one that actively welcomes people into the family of God. The story of the Gospel (or “good news”) is about God welcoming ALL people into a redeemed relationship with God and with our neighbors. The Gospel teaches us to be radical about including people from all walks of life and different backgrounds into the church (a community of faith) so that there is not a day that goes by where they don’t know God’s heart and God’s love for them.
