LCM is excited to announce their upcoming Annual Golf Fundraiser! This event is an important opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy a day of fellowship, and raise much-needed funds to support the work of the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry.
Through the continued support of churches and individuals, LCM can provide food, resources, and hope to individuals and families facing food insecurity and difficult circumstances in our community. The funds raised through this tournament will help them continue meeting these growing needs

Jim Kilgore Biography–Jim’s 25 plus years in non-profit leadership and business has taken him from his home in South Carolina to over 40 countries around the world. No stranger to personal loss and tragedy, Jim has first-hand wisdom and experience helping families deal with grief. One of the top Family Service Counselors in the country (J.D. Powers). He has helped hundreds of families through grief and pre-need planning. With a blend of compassion, patience and organization he’s helped businesses and individuals become effective at their unique tasks. From Pastor to President, Jim has worked with for profit and nonprofit organizations with coaching, business development, sales, marketing and grief counseling. When not serving families, you’ll find Jim playing cool guitar riffs, loving his 3 grandkids, doing life with his small group at his church and enjoying life with his bride, Grace.

Kumanta Youth Choir was founded in 2023 by a group of Filipino American mothers and their children who shared a love of music and community. Since its inception, the choir has delighted audiences by participating in concerts at MPUMC, sharing their voices and celebrating the joy of singing together. As we continue to grow, we warmly invite new members (ages 7-17) from the community to join us. All are welcome! No prior choir experience is necessary. The only requirement is a desire to sing. The Psalm Fest 2026, July 26, 11:00am | Traditional Worship Service in the Sanctuary.

All VBS participants must be 3 years of age by Sept. 1st, 2026 and potty trained. Please do not attempt to register anyone younger. 2026 5th grade graduates are our oldest participants at VBS.

Unified Worship in FLC + Potluck Lunch 🍽️
Following worship in the Family Life Center, all are invited to a festive potluck meal also in the FLC. Please plan to bring a side dish or dessert to share (see last name assignments below). To make it extra special, bring something that means "America" to you: Southern fried chicken, New England clam chowder, Texas barbecue, Chicago deep-dish pizza, Cajun jambalaya, Appalachian cornbread, or your favorite family recipe, we'd love for you to bring a dish to share.

Fourth of July Jellies
If you do not have a place to gather or people to gather with, or if you just want some good company, join us for Fourth of July Jellies! We will meet for a delicious meal, joyful conversation, and some holiday hospitality. Our gathering will be from 12:00–2:00pm in the Youth Room.

Seniors Are Special | Lunch & Program
SENIORS ARE SPECIAL: The next SAS meeting is on Thursday, July 2, in the Youth Room at 11:30am. Lunch will be served at 12:00pm. The cost is $9.00/person paid at the door.

Twice the Pie Contest Fundraiser
Pi + Pi = TWICE THE PIE: We are excited to announce a Tau Day celebration on Sunday, June 28 at 2:00pm in the FLC! While π is approximately 3.14, τ (Tau) equals 2π, or 6.28. To celebrate this mathematical constant, we are hosting a "Twice the Pie" contest. Each entry must submit two pies along with the recipe and be present to serve their entries for attendee voting. Ice cream will be provided, and there is a surprise prize for the winner! Tickets are $20, with all proceeds benefiting the Honduras Mission. ENTERING THE CONTEST:
It is free to submit pies to the contest. This is an all ages event!
Pie entries shall be standard pie size (9-12 inch, 1.25 - 1.5 Depth).
This is a “sweet” pie contest only. Absolutely no pizza, quiche, mincemeat, or shepherd’s pie!

VOTING:
To vote for your favorite pies, you must be a $20 ticket holder, even if you are a contestant.
Contestants are not permitted to vote for themselves.
TICKETS:
$20 tickets include tasting and voting.
$10 tickets include only tasting.
