DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY

Position Overview

Mountain Park UMC is seeking a creative and innovative leader to serve as Director of Youth Ministry, a role that is part of our Family Ministries Team. We are seeking a team player who can grow with a thriving, diverse community of believers. This person will enter sacred places of wonder with our youth and their families.

This position is best suited for individuals with a passion for working with adolescents, an understanding of Wesleyan/United Methodist theology and mission, and an openness to learn and grow into the position.

The Director of Youth Ministry will create space for youth and their families to experience their faith fully through youth worship experiences, service projects, youth group meetings, and intergenerational relationship building. They will empower volunteers to embody their gifts through the ministries of the Church and come with wonder and a willingness to explore the depths of faith and discipleship with the youth and families of Mountain Park UMC. The Director will also supervise any staff or contractors involved in ministries for youth (Sixth Grade through age 18).

DIRECTOR OF CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP

Position Overview

Mountain Park UMC is seeking a creative, collaborative, and Spirit-led leader to serve as Director of Contemporary Music, a role that is an integral part of our Worship and Creative Arts ministry. We are seeking a team player who can grow with a thriving, diverse community of believers and help cultivate meaningful worship experiences that are rooted in authenticity, connection, and excellence.

This position is best suited for individuals with a passion for contemporary music ministry, an understanding of Wesleyan/United Methodist theology and mission, and a heart for building community through music, creativity, and shared spiritual leadership.

The Director of Contemporary Music will work collaboratively with clergy, staff, volunteers, and musicians to help shape worship experiences that reflect the mission and values of Mountain Park UMC. This leader will create space for people of all ages and backgrounds to encounter God through music and worship that is engaging, thoughtful, and spiritually grounded. They will empower vocalists, instrumentalists, and creative volunteers to embody their gifts through the worship life of the Church, fostering a culture of collaboration, humility, and joyful excellence in service to God and neighbor.
