The next SAS meeting is on Thursday, March 7th in the Youth Room. Please join us at 11:30 AM for a meet and greet and time to visit with friends. Lunch will follow at 12:00 noon. Our menu is Glazed Ham, Mac and Cheese, Grannies Green Beans, Garden Salad, Dinner Rolls, Cookies, and Tea/Lemonade. It will be $9 at the door.

The Atlanta Gladiators are a professional minor league ice hockey team based in Duluth. They play their home games at Gas South Arena on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. They were founded in 1995 as the Gwinnett Gladiators and later became the Atlanta Gladiators in 2003. This year their season runs through April 14th. They offer group discounts and host special events such as Teddy Bear Toss, Pink in the Rink, and Faith and Family games.

The Gladiators’ mascot is Maximus and he will join Dani O’Meara, Account Executive, at the March 7th SAS luncheon. Dani will give a brief history of the team as well as talk about family friendly games and events left this season. Maximus is not bashful so we hope to get some good photos of Maximus and SAS attendees. As you can see in the photo, one of our church members is posing with him! So, come and join the fun!
