Nicole Elsey, Contemporary Worship Director, leads music and prepares technological aspects of our Contemporary Worship experience on Sunday mornings. Nicole also leads our Youth Worship Arts Ministry (W.A.M.) on Wednesdays and prepares other musical experiences outside Sunday mornings.

Nicole has served at several Atlanta area churches as music director and music staff since 2002. She grew up at MPUMC and was honored to join the team in September 2018.

Nicole graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in music with a concentration in vocal performance. She is a member of the Sacred Music Composers Association and feels humbled and blessed to have published choral music with several sacred music publishers.

When she's not at the church, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband Tony and their rescue pup Trooper, and her parents, Pat and Pam, who are also members of MPUMC. She also enjoys working on music projects, catching up on TV shows, and working on her Mary Kay business.

Nicole is passionate about helping others have meaningful worship experiences that encourage them to go deeper in their relationship with Christ. Music can be a powerful tool to help people learn and connect to scripture and internalize truths about the incredible God we serve and His amazing grace for us. Nicole strives to contribute to our church mission of "Living Jesus, Loving Community" through authentic and intentional worship experiences that unite the congregation and glorify God.
