Mountain Park UMC seeks to faithfully live into our mission and vision by “Living Jesus. Loving Community.”

Our Mission

Rooted in the Great Commission, our own United Methodist Church denomination’s mission statement encourages us to “Make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” It’s through each expression of the local church where we inherit this same mission and live it out in our own communities and neighborhoods. To be faithful to this greater mission at such a time and place as this, we are “connecting our communities with Jesus to transform lives.”

Our Vision

We believe that God has not only called us but has also equipped us to live into our mission. God has equipped us with a strategy and a vision for embodying this mission to its fullness. The vision encompasses three key aspects:

• We gather to build Christian community.

• We grow to become more faithful followers of Jesus.

• We go to serve and love all people in Jesus’ name.

10:45 a.m. - 11:45 A.m. | Contemporary Worship in the Family Life Center

11:05 a.m. - 12:05 p.m. | TraditioNal Worship in the Sanctuary

SUNDAY MORNINGS WITH MPUMC FAMILY MINISTRIES

MPUMC KIDS (Nursery - 5th Grade): We provide a safe and loving environment for children of all ages. We offer Sunday School from 9:45- 10:35AM and care during both worship services:

• Nursery/Preschool (0-4yrs) – Preschool Hall

• Kids (K-5th) – The Park (We invite kids to worship with families on the first Sunday of each month.)

MPUMC YOUTH

6th - 12th Grade: We provide a safe place for our youth to share and grow deeper in their relationships and faith: Sunday School for all youth runs from 9:45-10:35AM in the Youth Room, and we encourage our youth to participate and engage in worship with their families. We also have Sunday Night Youth from 5-7PM

4th/5th Grade: Connect Nights start in October! Sunday, October 1st, all 4th and 5th graders are welcome to join us from 4-5PM in the Youth Room for a time of games, music, and fellowship! This program is specifically aimed at our older kids to give them a space to develop relationships and their faith.
